It is also one of the world's premier locations for whale watching, salmon fishing, and sightseeing.
BC Ferry through Active Pass and the Gulf Islands.
You'll start your day on a BC Ferry, where, if you are lucky, you'll get to see a dolphin or an orca playing in Active Pass between the Gulf Islands. The views from the ferry are breathtaking as you sail between the islands.
Butchart Gardens
Enveloping you in lush plant life and incredible flowers, the Butchart Gardens is the jewel of the island. Tour its grounds and see why over a million people visit every year.
Victoria
Once in Victoria you'll have the opportunity to explore the city on your own, visiting shops, restaurants, and any local landmarks you'd like. Victoria offers the Royal BC Museum, Beacon Hill Park, and the impressive Empress Hotel. Be sure to a walk by the inner harbour to see the seals playing between the boats, and stroll through the street artists and artisans selling goods along the walkway.
